What is Share Market?

Simply, Share market is a place where securities are bought and sold. It exist in order to bring buyer and seller of securities and financial services together. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) , is one and only share market of Nepal. Securities Board Of Nepal (SEBON) is the apex regulator of securities market in Nepal.

It categorized into two types:

1. Primary Market
2. Secondary Market


Primary Market:

Market which deal with raising new capital by selling securities to investors. IPO is an example of primary market.


Secondary Market:

Market for investors to investors to trade outstanding securities. After securities are sold off in the primary markets, they are traded among buying and selling investors in secondary market.

Step 2: Open DMAT Account with Same Bank


Step 3: Open Mero Share with Same Bank


step 4: Contact with your bank for CRN Number


Step 5: Apply IPO through Mero Share

How to check IPO Result In Nepal?

Applicants can check their IPO result about 5 hours later of result published. Applicants should visit the official site of company in order to check the IPO result. All you need to do is provide your information for checking process ( Select a company, Provide your DMAT number and Check your result). You can also check the result from other two different sites. one is Go to browser and search iporesult.cdsc.com.np and provide needed information. Another one is Go to the official site of Mero share or Open the App, click on My ASB, click on old Application report scroll down and finally see the status if there is allotted then you are lucky, if not then you are unlucky for getting the IPO of that company.
